My last EAD renewal was processed very fast from TSC

Card Production Ordered: 11/12
Are all these paper based filings or e-filings?
I e-filed EAD/AP renewals on May 25th, 2009. Applications are at TSC. My AP got approved on June 19th and I received the AP documents on June 20th. However, my EAD application is still pending since May 25th. I think most, if not all, EAD e-files receive a FP notice and they take a picture as well as FP when we go to the ASC. I haven't received FP notice either so far. From what I am seeing, EAD paper based filing is being processed much faster (2-3 weeks) than e-filings. Anyone who e-filed EAD could pls let us know how long it took for FP notice and EAD approval.

Also even if you use EAD you can actually get back on H1 status without being counted against the quota as long as your I-485 is pending.

Can you eloborate more on this? My understanding is that once you use EAD, H1 is gone for good. And particularly How one can revert back to H1 if EAD is used to join different employer?

This is due to the change of address. The receipts which were returned to USCIS will be mailed back to your new address based on ur address from Ar-11 database. Nothing to worry. I had the same status and today I received the receipts which were returned back to them from my previous address.
I asked her if it is change of address they sent she is not sure but she said usually it is the card when Current Status: is "Document mailed to applicant."
She put in a service request for me and she some one is going to contact me in 30 business days.

Did you notice any LUD's on your case in September?..i got an RFE for my Spouse in August and responded on September 2nd after that there is Soft LUD almost every day but no status change..on my case no LUD's or what so ever last LUD was on 08/19 the day when i did my FP that's it..Guys i am frustated and feeling some how that i will miss this bus... called USCIS IO told me that both the cases are with officer not sure how reliable inof that is..Opened SR on September 3rd..guys please suggest me what else i can do:confused::confused::mad::mad::mad:
Got the cards in the mail. My online case status says the application is still pending.

Check with your attorney, in your mail boxes along with the online USCIS case status. You may get the good news in your mail box or from your attorney's office before your status is updated online.
This is what my attorney had to say:
The USCIS online status system is maintained by contract workers and is often inaccurate.

This is what we are doing every day. Our team & QGA are in constant touch with the offices of several senators. We are definitely concentrating on the 2 senators you have named here. We are very hopeful that something will come up soon. But again until it really comes to the floor all we can do is keep the hope and spirits high!!!!

Morgan Stanley,
etc., companies to fund for securing all state borders and states from bomb blasts from terrorists.They do not know how much they want to collect. Still counting , because India had heavy losses because of these blasts.
I am sure India will do something similar if more than 50% employees of these companies are NON-INDIANS....

It depends what you wrote down in your labor application. You can mention that job is consulting and clients are all over Continental US. I am sure you employer must not have told you that and didnt apply that way. Typical of consulting firms, so taht they can get you to pay another labor..which they can use for substitution.
So, now you can be queried at the final stage as your location is no longer the same. You will have to test the waters of Labor market again in NJ,,,by filing new PERM. So, the risk is yours to take.

You are acting as if you made a mistake by contributing to IV because other people are not contributing and that is frustrating to you. I am assuming your lawyer meant that the H4 status could be reclaimed if necessary. As soon as one uses EAD the non-immigrant status gets lost.
Ok! God help me here.... My lawyer responded this morning that h4 is valid even after using EAD. EAD is only a benefit.
Now what is true? So much of information floating around and I don't know what to take and what not to!!!!!

I have GC for about a month now. I plan on taking up Corp-to-Corp, Independent, 1099 and W2 contracts. For corp-to-corp contracts I would like to incorporate a company if I can save on taxes over the 1099 contracts. I am also

This does not give you EAD status. It is just a pre-registration. EAD is given at actual I-485 filing and not at pre - registration.
And this rule has been discussed by USCIS over for few years, but never implemented. And implementing it only adds one more additional step to the journey, with no EAD benefits.

Second I-485 applied by my 2nd DW in 7/05
Interview granted in 5/06
Case still pending due name check

Anyone with a similar case and any advice on this case? I've spent about 30K USD on this case on Lawyers and still have NOT got any decision from the USCIS. Now , I'm considering filing a WOM. Whats your take on this? Thanks !

Hello,
You have no idea how I am desperate and will appreciate your help.
I basically get a 0 1 visa to work for a first employer. Then I get another job offer and leaved the first employer who revoked my initial visa.
The new employer was supposed to apply for a new visa for me but he never did it. He get debts problems and laid off half of the company including me.
My only visa has really been revoked so I really overstayed 7 months.
Today I got another job offer with a new sponsorship so I saw several attorneys and some of them said nothing was possible to do and some said it was maybe possible to fix the overstay.
Today I have to take a decision, go thought this new job offer and take the risk to never get the visa and then the job - or forget about it, leave the US right now and think about the USA in 3 years.
Please help me - what do you think I should do? Is it really impossible to get an overstay waiver with a new petitioner?
